The car is suprisingly fast for only 118 BHP but presumably the engines high troque figure makes up for it. The interor is of good quality apart from some hard plastics in places you are unlikey to touch much. Everything is logicaly laid out and the infotainment screen is a model of user friendlyness. It has to be one of the best if not the best looking midrange family hatchbacks around. Why Mazda whose cars have a fine reliabily record do not sell more cars in the UK is a mystery. In the five months since buying the car a lot of my driving has been short journeys and If not for this my overall mpg would probably be in the low 40srather than the high 30s
