Mazda 3 MPS (2009 - 2013) 2.3T MPS 5d Owner Review

This is a surprisingly addictive car with incredible levels of road grip, control and an utterly mad acceleration which will leave the vast majority of cars in your rear view mirrors, such is the intense acceleration of this beast which actually looks more like a demure lamb. Until one floors the acceleration and then all hell breaks loose! Getting a good used one can be a tough proposition as a good one is rarer than hens teeth and it took me close to 5 months to wait patiently and get an unmolested one. Avoid buying any MPS that has even been slightly modded or modified as it then may have undergone several modifications and been trashed to within an inch of its life. Rather get an MPS with a full Mazda service history, and one which is untouched and there will be no regrets. It is a very rare car, but waiting and takings ones time to get a good one is well worth it.
