In their own words

I am now on my fourth (yes fourth!) Sport Nav Diesel estate, 1 manual and three autos. I buy them at around 3 years old andv30-35k on the clock, run them for about 3 years up to around 65k then buy another 3 year old one. The car is a delight to drive and handles like a dream. The 6 speed auto is silky smooth and never gets caught iut, kickdown is nearly instant and the high torque makes overtaking both quick and easy. My son in law has a BMW 520 and sadly that feels like an old man's barge in comparison. No "feel" through the steering and a wallowing ride in comparison. I have had only 1 Issue over the years and that was the drivers seat motor shaft sheared (covered under the 1 year used warranty, just as well, the seat base alone was £1k). Other than that 100% reliable. I regularly average the high 40's mpg and if on a long motorway run I have seen 69.9mpg (couldnt quite get it to click over that last tenth) over 80+ miles, which is simply incredible. The engine has plenty of torque to tow my 1500kg caravan with ease.
To sum up (in case you hadn't guessed) I love the Sport Nav estate. Its very comfortable indeed, not at all sluggish, very well equipped "toy" wise and, in my 10 years of owning them have proved to be ultra reliable.
