Bought it from my parents for £1,200 with 70,000 miles on the clock - though import from Malta is UK spec.
Costs
Costs good - just keep her serviced and look after her. Breakers specialising in Japanese parts good for second hand parts and www.speedways.co.uk good for brakes, clutches etc.

This car is great fun to drive and the handling is better than you give it credit for.

Love it! Great fun.

Excellent - always feel safe - just maintain and check the oil!

People look at the car and don't know what she is. Difficult to age due to streamlined shape.
Comfort
Bucket seats are comfortable and good on long journeys - low to get out of though so you may need a hand!

Had Cat 1 installed on car - would be gutted to lose her so well protected otherwise there is no security except manufacturers alarm.
Service
Haven't had serviced with local Mazda as too expensive, bought a Hayes manual and will send that with the car if needed.

No major problems - always check oil!

Speedo stopped working - turned out more expensive than thought as when they took the part out, half of it was in the gearbox! Got 2nd hand part replacement much cheaper
