They do say they are 'bullet-proof' and I'm beginning to believe it. As long as you keep up with regular servicing, there shouldn't be any major worries.

Great image. Wonderful feeling driving with the three pointed star on the front. Still gets some admiring glances, even now - how many other G-reg cars attract attention?

Exceptionally confortable seats (even more so than my 2002 SLK)

No real issues - car has been fitted with an aftermarket remote control alarm linked to the central locking system.

Excellent technical queries from the Mercedes-Benz Club - also a useful source of information on suppliers of parts etc. Well worth the joining fee!

Not a problem as such, but my FSH 105,000 mile car had no record of a cambelt change (M-B suggest at 60,000 miles) so thought it best to replace it!
