Mercedes-Benz A-Class AMG (2013 - 2018) A45 5d 4Matic Owner Review

I was hoping for big things from this car, I had previously come out of a 435d and before that an rs3 and in all honesty I thought it would be similar to these, I am aware they have bigger displacement engines and there is no substitute for that, don't get me wrong its not a slow car, but not in the same league as things like RS3's etc, the gearbox is sluggish, Mercedes servicing is horrific for cost and service provided, I have owned an M4 and that was cheaper to own than this, and a lot faster, the windscreen is prone to chips and cracks, the tires wear so quickly, no more than 8k even if driven nicely. Overall a vast let down, I was expecting more and most people love these cars, if you want a car like this don't buy a Golf R as they are just as disappointing get and RS3 way better every way, or an m140i (3 litre) you will thank me later
