Value
Expensive, even though mine was an import from holland, but a premium product.
Costs
Dealer costs are horrendous and they might suggest work that doesn't need doing! Having said that some dealers are better than others.

Reliability
Never let me down in 100k miles, but there have been various warning lights have come on and gone again when left! Fuel guage packed up then recovered. Ditto SRS air bag.

Even 6 years old I think its acceptably cool, in the vein of old Volvo estates.
Comfort
Seats feel firm but I have travelled 600 miles ++ without serious discomfort.

No deadlocks but other than that alarm & security very good.
Service
Some dealers are shocking - expensive and dishonest, others OK. MB itself reasonable - replaced\a couple of items under warranty and a new tailgate at 6 years due to corrosion.

A new mass flow sensor required after 2 years.
Other
Various warning lights come and go - generally ignore unless something physical packs in! Oh yes - aircon compressor packed in at 4 years.
