    I have learnt my lesson and will never own a Mercedes again, mainly due to the abysmal, frustrating and non committal customer service.

    They like the look of it but are shocked by the service and problems

    Never, for reasons ststaed

    Possibly a Lexus or Passat cc

    Did you get a good deal and why?

    The price seemed fair at he time and the interest rate was competitive. A dealer admin error resulted in them offering me mudflaps/mats and a full tank of fuel but on collection all I got was mats and a miserable amount of fuel.

    Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    I was in pursuit of a reliable and quality product and fell for the Mercedes advertising spin of 'Only the best will do'. Big mistake!

    What was the dealer like?

    Dealer/Customer service condescending. Unsupportive of customer issues. I got the feeling that the brands definition of customer service was for me to be thankful for the privilege of driving their brand, regardless of defects.

    What's it like to drive?

    Clunky gearbox not the most rewarding experience when driving around town. Smooth and comfortable on motorway though. MPG 10 mpg less than claimed. Some obvious events of invariable power delivery mid range.

    Have you had any problems with the car?

    Injectors failed when crossing a busy juction, a serious collision was avoided through luck. (car off road for 2 weeks). Paintwork bubbled and peeled. Engine power surging when slowing down. Poor economy and running. Damaged caused by dealership not resolved months later
