Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes I traded in a very worn out beamer and my deal was fair and handled in a courteous manner.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Family member has the same model.
What was the dealer like?
Our local MB dealer is great to visit: free coffee, wi-fi and staff are helpful.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great experience BUT it lacks serious power for a 1.8 supercharged engine: I dislike having my doors blown off by "lesser vehicles" costing a fraction of this price! Seriously though this engine SHOULD deliver 180 bhp with consummate ease in this set up, and the rating of 145 bhp is more akin to a tuned Mini! However the only thing for which I would swap my car is the same model with a real engine in it!
What's it like to park?
Great: no problems at all, but the turning circle is just a little smaller than I like.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Window rubbers don't clear rain: I reported this & they were replaced bt no better:-( After rain or car wash if you open the tailgate, water runs into the bootwell and more annoyingly runs down your neck!! The dealer admitted it was a design faux pas. The windscreen wiper motor is noisy: the last time I had such a noisy wiper motor was in my old Mini all those years ago!
What's most practical about your car?
The driving experience is, for me, brilliant. Parking sensors are the best I have experienced.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Radio includes SHORT WAVE BAND,! Wow!! I am a Short Wave listner so this is my favourite facility on this car: yes I know I should get out more and I love my clc and get out more and listen to Short Wave at the same time!! Seriously though other goodies include speed control BUT why don't all models come with satnav??
