In their own words

Before buying my Mercedes CLS 220d I had been a proud and loyal BMW owner (both cars and bikes) for the best part of 20 years ... but the way the CLS looked, both outside and in (with its sumptuous 4-seater layout and smooth lines) really stood out from the crowd. The in-house tech makes you smile even as you start up, when the magical headlight show sets the scene for what is to come. My initial "post-switch nerves" were dispelled as soon as I got behind the wheel and discovered that the CLS can really handle. On the motorways it provided sublime comfort and great economy, but more surprisingly, on the B roads it was fantastic fun, easily as capable as my previous 5 Series. The CLS belied its size and is guaranteed to put a grin on your face in any conditions. If you are looking for a reliable, luxurious, beautiful looking and spirited class act ... then look no further than the Mercedes CLS. If I had any second thoughts at all, it would be that I did not go for the full 350d engine ... which may have added a second layer of icing on an already impressive cake.
