Timeless design. Superbly built and engineered - just like a Mercedes should be. Comfortable and with the hard top on, its a coupe - so you get 2 cars in 1. All the performance you reasonably need and quite economical too. A cruiser rather than a sports car but with the roof down, why would you want a sports car anyway? Because the build quality is so good they can take lots of abuse so choose your purchase carefully. There is lots of junk out there but also lots of very well maintained examples in the hands of enthusiasts - look for a good service history, plenty of receipts and work by a Mercedes specialist that understands the cars. Keep the maintenance up then enjoy what must be the bargain of the decade !
