65 this year, retired and not doing the mileage I used to. Traded in a 2006 Boxster S after 5 years ownership to get my 2008 SLK AMG. Wanted a V8 and hard top convertible and, for the price, £22k, there wasn't anything close. Did 2000 miles in her through Europe in summer 2017. Fabulous acceleration and sound with roof down but great tourer as well. Visually squat and muscular, headturner. Very comfortable and well equipped. Enough luggage space for 2. Expensive on fuel and road tax though. Others say there are better sports cars out here but the SLK may well be a keeper!
