The car is attractive, especially in the blue, and it drives well. The value they offer is fantastic, I have taken this car from 30k to nearly 100k. It has all the mod-cons such as sat nav, cruise etc on all bar the base version. It is a BMW chassis and its weight distribution is great. The engine is 1.8t which although isnt the best mpg wise at around 35-38, it has the strengthened head gasket compared to the original 1.8t fitted to the rover 75 and I am led to believe there has yet to be one fail. You can fit rover 75 parts in most places to it which makes it mega cheap to maintain for lots of things, however others can only be purchased from MG and can be expensive. I have driven all accross europe in this car, to ukraine then back to scotland and it didnt miss a beat.
The downside is the tax which is £250 odd.
It is VERY cheap to insure, I was 28 last year and it cost me £168 a year to insure. Put it this way, I have purchased a 2016 diesel version of this car to replace this I liked it so much, and I gave this to my brother for his 17th and insurance was only £700 for the year on his own policy compared to £2k for a corsa.
