MINI Hatchback 1.5 Cooper Hatchback 3d Owner Review

Great 3 pot engine and engaging drive. Gear box is long legged but quite smooth. Driving modes are useful and VED only £20. Well equipped and decent ICE. Green mode gave 58mpg on a 500 mile round trip mostly on motorways. Sport mode is fun especially with the Bluespark tuning box. Handling is good. Service costs at local garage is very reasonable e.g in DL5 oil service plus gearbox oil was £60 and I supplied the gearbox oil. Comfort is ok. I have the seat extensions and use cruise on the motorway when I can. However, to have steering wear issues (apparently common) and an alarm module failure I think in the 21st it is not good enough. If I had not had these failures the car would have got a higher mark.
