Nissan 100NX 1991-
  • Economy

    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

I paid 260 quid for my 100NX with 100k on the clock and it's in good condition bar rust.

    Costs

    2 out of 5 2.0

Panels are expensive, insurance is steep for what it is however fuel consumption isn't too bad.

  • On the road

    Driving

    3 out of 5 3.0

It's good for a cheap car, gets quite loud on motorway though.

    Performance

    3 out of 5 3.0

    Average really, it's what you'd expect for a 1.6 16V with 100BHP.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

It's not broken down on me yet and I've had it 6 months, however I did have a major rust problem and a pothole caused a rear strut to rip the strut mounting part of the chassis in 2, lucky it didn't go through the rear windscreen.

    4 out of 5 4.0

No-one knows what an NX is, plus I've had mine de-badged, de-spoilered, de-handled, fully colour coded with a full respray and put 17"" alloys on it and most people think it's an expensive sports car!

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

I drive about 400 miles every week and it's been fine for me and I'm 6'3".

  • Security and Service

    Security

    1 out of 5 1.0

I locked my keys in and it took my mate 2mins to get in without causing any damage. I have a CAT1 alarm now and would recommend alarming the vehicle if you get one.

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Serviced my self, pretty easy to do on this car.
