What does this car say about you?

It says I have only just passed, this car sticks out like a sore thumb around the area I drive (full of Range Rovers and Mercs) which is great cause I'm easily spotted and they tend to give me much more space which has been great for my confidence when driving!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone likes the car (not so much the colour - burgundy - never the first choice).

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would buy this car again, it has been an excellent first car and I would recommend to anyone.

What are you likely to buy next?

I like the Fiat 500L and the Nissan Leaf, something smaller is def on the cards purely for insurance and road tax reasons.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Didn't buy from a dealer

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £500

When did you buy the car?

    July 2012

Did you get a good deal and why?

I believe I got a great deal, this car starts first time every time. Other than tax this car is very cheap to run, so for a first car it is perfect, hasn't required any work on it at all.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I bought this as my first car, I did not want to spend a lot of money as I expected to have a few bumps (esp when parking)!

    What was the dealer like?

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

This car cruises well and is very comfortable even on long journeys. I go up a very steep hill every morning and it has never had a problem, even if we need to stop halfway to let cars coming down past this car pulls off without a fuss unlike some i've been in on the hill.

    What's it like to park?

After a few bumps, when I finally got used to how long the car was (I learned in a Micra) this car is very easy to park, even in the narrow streets around my work this has no problem, first day I drove my daughter to school we got blocked in and although I had to make what seemed like a million tiny small movements it came out without a bump!

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing, this car has been great.

What's most practical about your car?

Its very fuel efficient even for its age, I spend roughly £25 per week on petrol which is less than my travel pass used to cost.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I love the fact the previous owner installed a cd player that syncs with my iphone as I did not expect to get either of these with the price I was paying or the age of car I was buying.
