Value
When I purchased this car, the dealer was doing £2000 discount - bought car for just over £8000.
Costs
Servicing is cheap. £90 service every 9000 miles. Fuel economy is excellent - 46mpg+.

Driving
Corners brilliantly - instils confidence, even in the wet. The down side to this is that the suspension feels very firm so you do feel potholes etc.
Performance
If you want to overtake, then this usually involves dropping down a gear. Same again on steep hills.

Car is bulletproof. Engine feels like it would run forever.

I think it looks great - very modern, but it is completey anonymous in car parks and gets no second glances.
Comfort
Seats are nice, but a bit firm for long journeys. See my notes above re suspension.

I've still got it. It has immobiliser with flashing light, but no alarm.
Service
1 recall in the time I had this car and that was for the engine management system. Dealer was good, but a bit impersonal (large main dealer). All problems raised were quickly fixed under 3-year warranty.
