What does this car say about you?

Not sure. Depends who's looking. Some people may see someone who loves high performance - others may see a tool. I don't care either way - they won't get much of a second glance.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone loves it, even family members who are not car people. After I take them out they want one.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I don't plan on selling this one in a hurry. There are three types of GTR owner - the ones fortunate enough to use it as a daily driver who care about satnav and ipod connectivity - the ones who can only afford to run it as a weekend/holiday car and the ones who jump straight in without doing their research then get a shock. I'm in the 2nd group. Tyres, brakes, etc are very expensive. I use/will use mine for around 3-4k miles a year and get it serviced annually at an independent - that should keep costs to sensible levels. Do your homework.

What are you likely to buy next?

No idea yet. It's a pretty hard act to follow. In fact, at the money, you can't follow it.

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

Fast isn't really the word for this thing. My stage one car has 570 bhp and hits 100 mph in under 7 seconds. Instant throttle response, more like a normally aspirated car than a turbo. Most people I take out for a spin have never experienced anything like it. They are either swearers or gigglers - some are both. Terrific handling of course - car disguises its weight well. Surprisingly informative and precise steering. Epic brakes. Gear changes are instant and the gearbox software update really smoothes things out around town.It's.

    What's it like to park?

It's a very big car but there are no deceptive overhangs. I'd avoid the crowded end of the Tesco carpark if I were you.
