Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Having owner 3 GTR's before then I would of expected a bit more from Nissan. The fact is even with the car being faulty for so long then they wouldn't put a final timeframe on it that if they still fail to fix the problem then they would replace the vehicle. Even when I asked, just tell me will it be 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or 10 years more until the problem is fixed they wouldn't commit to an answer which means even in 10 years time you could still be waiting for a fix. Their new car warranty has no time cut off for repairs. It simply says what is covered and what isn't covered and says they will fix what items are covered. My problem was very clearly covered but then they didn't fix it and didn't seem to care. Customer Service failing to return my calls or reply to my emails.

How reliable do you find the car?

My car is still under the new car warranty (Less than 3 years old) but they failed to fix it and wouldn't offer a replacement. This meant I owned a GTR (Lookalike) for 9 months that had all the high costs associated with the GTR but none of the fun or performance. And lets face it, most GTR buyers are after performance. Plus I also lost £4k on what I got back for it compared to what an identical car would cost me to replace mine with (Same Year / Same Mileage) After my GTR had an Engine problem that kept putting it in to Limp Mode and reducing power and the Dealership not sure what was causing the problem and so sent my engine logs to Nissan GB who first had a guess at changing the Engine Knock sensors to no avail and then admitted they had never seen a problem like this is the whole of Europe. Next my Engine Logs were sent to the experts in Japan and even though Japan have had the logs for a month there has been no reply and Nissan GB will not even give me a date for when the car will be fixed. Even if I ask them to give me a maximum time frame, ie; 3 months more, 6 months, 1 year, 10 years, they will not commit which leaves me wondering is there new car warranty worth the paper its written on. Half the car isn't covered under wear and tear items and the other half if they don't know how to fix it then they will just ignore you and not fix it and this is on their Flagship Vehicle advertised as "Track Performance Every Day" except for those who have reduced power and then with 4 wheel drive maybe you can use it as a tractor. Looking at all the other reviews and their rating on here then I'm not alone. Will be following this through with the Motoring Ombudsman.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Car is advertised as "Track Performance Every Day" and 196mph, 0-60 in 3 seconds etc. During my 9 months of ownership I didn't get track performance on one day yet alone everyday!
