In their own words

I usually buy new but bought this used at a good price as my first automatic driving school car (been doing manual for 14 years). The main issue is that the auxiliary belt is a pig to adjust and it cost me around £900 (3 new belts, new pulley, new water pump and other general fiddling) to sort a dreadful screeching noise which emanated from the auxiliary belt area as soon as the used car warranty ran out. Apart from that the learners love it, it does the job and has (otherwise) proved very durable. It is basically a box on wheels which you can pick up cheap and generally only driven by careful older people. If you only want to get from A to B then one of these cheap and used is probably for you. If you want something which is enjoyable to drive and has an element of street cred, spend a bit more and buy a Fiesta (which was my manual car and I had 4 of them).
