In their own words

I chose this model because of it's lower running costs compared to my previous Almera (2002). Fuel consumption is low around town, particularly in ECO mode, but high at motorway speed because the engine (80 bhp) needs to be revved hard. I am slightly disappointed in this particular regard. Driving - wise, it's like every other Nissan I have driven. Unremarkable. Steering is light but not sharp, suspension good over the bumps, quite a bit of road and wind noise at higher speeds. I had to replace both O2 sensors at 35,000 miles which you would not normally expect. Otherwise, it's been faultless mechanically. The interior is capacious but does not feel exceptionally well screwed together with a couple of minor rattles from the drivers door panel. Door mirrors are electrically adjustable but do not fold in. The seats are quite comfortable with a range of adjustment but lack a bit of lateral support. The upholstery fabric feels quite thin. It's an attractive looking motor particularly in white with rear tinted windows, like mine.
