Nissan Primera Hatchback 1990-

Fantastic price for its reliability, I picked one up with 68k miles on clock for under 2 grand and never had a problem.

    Costs

Petrol consumption not too bad, not great urban MPG. Parts are a rip off from Nissan dealers however (remote central locking keyfob = £130!)

Not bad at all. Disappointing a bit when trying to put your foot down, but eventually gets there. Smooth runner though.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Nice on the country lanes, corners well, smooth on motorway. However, it has a very high clutch biting point, takes some getting used to! Picks up speed quite well on the long run.

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

Solid as a rock, keeps plodding along no problem.

    Image

Depends which type you get, mine has the front and back spoilers which gives it a bit of a lift, however sticking a set of alloys on it does give it a sporty feel. It will accept 17" alloys without problems and changes the image! Still not bad overall.

    Comfort

    2 out of 5 2.0

Very ordinary and bland, no lumbar support. Still, it beats sitting on a stool.

Not a problem at all, sounds sweet.

    Other

If you get a Primera P10, get one with the front spoiler, it makes the car look 10 times better.
