What does this car say about you?

Not sure really. The Qashqai is definitely different in shape. The first serious 'crossover' Looks a bit like a 'soft roader', (high driving position-chunky appearance)but without the useless (to me) 4WD with the extra polution and consumption problems associated with 4WD's

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

So far it has had nothing but praise, for it's looks, comfort and especially The HUGE glass roof

Would you buy this car again and why?

Give ma chance , I've only had it a month! But YES most definately. 27th July 08 After the shortcoming listed in faults section, it is now doubtful. The build quality is not good compared to all the Hondas I have owned and it is also very tinny compared with Hondas, lots of bumps and thumps on poor road surfaces have started now it has done 3000 miles. I find that the roof NOT OPENING is infuriating. I would swap the 'greenhouse' for a smaller opening sunroof (a la X-Trail ) any day!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted something different and changing from Saab Convertible wanted a big glass roof. CR-V too expensive and do not need 4x4

What was the dealer like?

The one I bought it from wasFirst class in every respect. My local Nissan Dealer is a joke!

What's it like to drive?

Comforable, good road holding, fast (for what it is)Very torquey for a Japanese petrol engine. (they are usually 'torqueless'!)

What's it like to park?

Easy-peasy with the short rear overhang, big door mirrors and park assist.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing Oh DEAR! This is an update and yes it has! 1st the drivers window would not go down, then the glass feel out (a common problem with Micras apparently) Turned out the glass was insufficiently glued into the channel.(Dealer sorted) 2. Drivers door check strap started 'clunking' bothbolts came loose. (I tightened). 3. First time i hit *o mph I thought the rear bumber was going to fly off. Turned out that there was a nut missing (NEVER been fitted as there was paint on the captive bolt)I fitted nut but it took me 1.5 hours due to location. better than a 90 mile round trip to Dealer!

What's most practical about your car?

Space adaptability. Good rear leg room. High driving position.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Far too many to chose the favourite. VERY well spec'd
