• Summary

What does this car say about you?

    Practical new car.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone loves it. Room in the back can be a bit restricted so short journeys only when full of passengers.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. But with the changes to car excise licenses coming up a new one will not be at the same level of £0.

What are you likely to buy next?

One of these or a Mazda CX5.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchised

Did you buy this car new?

    Yes

    What price did you pay?

    £0

When did you buy the car?

    September 2015

Did you get a good deal and why?

Bought via internet site from main dealer. No haggling necessary and got good deal as no trade in.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Cross over with low running costs.

    What was the dealer like?

Generally OK. But very young staff that did not really have the maturity to pull it off.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Smooth. The 1.5 diesel is a bit under powered. What this means in my experience is that it is somewhat unforgiving if you are in the wrong gear. That is there will be no acceleration.

    What's it like to park?

It has the automatic parking system but this is fiddly and time consuming to use. The all round cameras make parking much easier.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not yet finger crossed. Electronic hand brake is not really in an ergonomic location. The auto hold on the foot brake only really comes on when you are up a mountain. This means that you either hold the car on the clutch or use the awkward electronic hand brake to stop it rolloing back.

What's most practical about your car?

Key less entry means you don't even have to have the key fob out just in your pocket and press a button on the door handle - best system I've had so far.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

All round cameras give the impression of a birds eye view that makes parking much easier.
