Was my first car, worth about a tenner, still worth a tenner when I P/X.
Costs
Dirt cheap to run, takes unleaded, good for an E Reg. Runs on petrol vapour (no cat!)

On the road
Driving
LX had no power steering - pain for parking but great fun on country roads! Really feel the road and out-corner people who can't feel it with their PAS.
Performance
For a 17 year old, great! Sluggish for overtaking, but when pushed was eager, and sounded nice nice, even with standard zorst.

Living with it
Reliability
Never let me down, even after 6 weeks of standing still in up to -6. Starts first time. Does not like hot weather though.

Ever seen Top Gear? Worst Car? But it's cheap and that's good. I parked mine when and where ever. Never worried about door being bashed.
Comfort
Excellent front seats, even for me (6ft 5). Had loads of legroom, surprisingly for a small car. Back space limited when seat fully back. Can fit 4 mates in there with room. Boot average.
