In their own words

When I first saw the Fastback launched I need I wanted one. The styling inside and out is superb. So when the opportunity game to get a top spec one for not a lot of money, I grabbed it. The ride is very, very comfortable, and quiet too. The automatic gearbox is smooth and responsive. The kickdown works as you need it too. No delays. Build quality is very good, soft touch materials all over, even on the door cards. The leather on the seats, doors and steering wheel feels very nice. The heated massage seats the GT spec has are sublime. I have taken this car of several 4 hour + drives and get out of it without any aches or stiffness. It'll cruise on the motorway all day long. The active lane and distance control acts pretty much like an autopilot. It will break and accelerate for you and keeps you in your lane. This makes long distance a doddle. The boot has plenty room! As do the back seats. Although passengers over 6ft tall might have the very tops of their heads gently caressing the roof liner. Peugeot's i-Cockpit is a delight to use. The small steering wheel means it sits quite low and you look over it at the instrument panel, which of course is a screen, not dials, which can be configured in with many presets and a customer option too. The small size of the wheel makes manoeuvring the car very easy too. The odd shape of it takes a little getting used to, but once you've sat in in for a few days, you don't want to go back to the boring round steering wheels! The centre touch screen is plenty big enough to cleanly display any information you might need, although it will take you a big to find all the settings you want. Reading the manual is highly recommended! The voice commands work perfectly, from telling it to turn the heated seat on, to calling someone. The exterior styling is leaps ahead of the old Peugeot styling with the big cat like eyes and big mouths. The 508 looks pretty aggressive. A few people have told me they thought I was driving a Mustang. The car does turn heads. The little dance the rear LEDs lights do when you unlock it is perfectly useless but you love it anyway and makes the car stand out in the car park on a dark evening when you've forgetting where you parked. Makes other people less fortunate than yourself do a double-take too! All in all, this is a superb effort by Peugeot. You get a lot of car for your money. I look forward to many happy years of motoring with this car. Finally, the dealer has been absolutely first rate!
