Economy
Value
Mine was 11mths old with 2800 miles on the clock - at the price I paid it was incredible value for money considering the specification of the car.
Costs
The 2.2 diesel is VERY economical to run, I have just returned from a trip to Belgium and France and retuned 43.5 mpg overall. Few cars of this size could match that.

On the road
Driving
Very comfortable and relaxing car to drive. Steering is superb and it sticks to the road like glue.
Performance
For a diesel this car shifts - The torque figure of 235ft lbs at 2000 (yes 200 revs) is amazing and when called upon it really pushes you to the back of your seat. My last car was a 2.5 V6 24 valve and the performance of the Peugeot diesel is better.

It is a bit early for me to say yet because I have only done a few thousand miles but so far it is looking good

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I think this is a good looking car with style. Not being a badge snob I would not thank you for a BMW as driven by every rep on the road!
Comfort
Superb for a long journey, masses of leg, head and shoulder room, four people can get lost in this car.

Security
It does have an immobilizer and deadlocks but I would have liked am intruder alarm as standard.
Service
Some confusion about service intervals with Peugeot saying 12K for the diesel and the maintenance book saying 20K. I am still trying to resolve that one!!!!

Problems
Engine
Once you are over about 15mph you would not know you are driving a diesel. At 75 in cruise control on the motorway engine noise does not exist.
Other
If you can get one of these low mileage about a year old buy it - you will not find a better motor if you are looking for a large roomy comfortable car.
