What does this car say about you?

Tough one....can't afford a TT? Poser? Mid Life crisis? Estate agent! I've had them all but the RCZ is suitably understated so it has class, it doesn't shout look at me but it says enough and it often get admiring glances - don't see many of them around either.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

All love it, everyone comments on how it looks and my wife loves the decent ride and civility of the car in general.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Tough one; I wouldn't usually go for the same car again but I do like it, I enjoy driving it but I do feel the novelty of the car will rub off and what you're left with is a fairly impractical coupe....

What are you likely to buy next?

I've always gone the hot hatch route and this was a real change and one I'm enjoying but I turn 30 shortly so next time out it'll be a fuel sipping diesel (because I need to grow up).

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Didn't buy from a dealer

Did you buy this car new?

    Yes

    What price did you pay?

    £0

When did you buy the car?

    April 2012

Did you get a good deal and why?

    Na company car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

It's a company car and I don't need the boot space or back seats the usual company car would bring, I also wanted a frugal petrol (my previous DPF equipped diesel was always packing up)...oh and then there's the looks!!

    What was the dealer like?

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

It drives very well, likes to be revved and grips hard without the ride being compromised. The steering is a little numb and a shade on the light side for me but that's only a minor niggle. Take it easy on the motorway and you'll crack 50mpg but don't expect to see more than 30-35 around town.

    What's it like to park?

It was fine until the parking sensors stopped working!

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

The parking sensors have packed up but it's off to be fixed. Other than that, the build is excellent with the doors shutting with a satisfying clunk...unlike my previous SEAT.

What's most practical about your car?

The boot is a good size, the back seats are useless but my dog seems to like them! Up front me and the other half have plenty of room and the seats are brilliant.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The spoiler...it plays to the nine year old inside me!
