    What's it like to drive?

Great driving position thanks to Lotus, was best in class at time of purchase. incredible Lotus tuned suspension gives great ride over the rough, and pin sharp handling! reviews that say otherwise must be based off the MK1 model cos mine is A1. Lovely short clutch travel helps relieve leg stress in traffic, and makes gear changes even snappier! Short ratio gearbox changes well and doesn't age, reminds me of 1275 Clubman- loads of fun! Very quiet at any speeds up to 85mph, but gets a bit noisy after that. Still quieter than VW polo 1.2 i tested at the time. Loads of performance throughout the rev range, but really comes on cam after 3800 rpm up to 5500 Rpm. Probably the most fun i've had in a small car since my mini!

    What's it like to park?

Parking sensors at the rear as standard, if you still cant park it you probably shouldn't be driving!

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

I've done 42,000 miles in just over 2 years and the car has been flawless. Thought I had suspension trouble in the 3rd week of ownership, but turned out my wife had left the jack a bit loose in the boot!

What's most practical about your car?

Biggest boot in the class, with trouble free fold flat seats, gets my clubs in even without folding the seats!

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Great looking alloy wheels, and parking sensors that actually work, which more than I can say for the fiat 500!
