Credit crunch is having an impact but still wants a bit of fun away from the lights.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Thought I was joking when I said I'd traded my beemer in for it. After hearing about the 65mpg the car does they all seemed pretty surpised.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I'm likely to run the current clio into the ground but if my commute is still long in 4 years then yes.

What are you likely to buy next?

Second car for weekend fun. Either Honda S2000 of Z3 3 litre.

Bought for economy as my commute is a 80 mile round trip. It achieves reasonable performance and economy.

Very keen to close the deal, aerial was missing and had to point out before they replaced it. Average.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

It's a book 0-60 in 10 seconds and it does in fact achieve this. very torquey in 2nd & 3rd gear. Copes at high speed very well. Good overtaking & sports suspension means it handles well. Good in the wet too.

    What's it like to park?

Plenty of glass and narrow pillars make parking pretty straight forward.

What's most practical about your car?

Seats go down easily - squeezed a bath in! Rain sensor windscreen, automatic lights.
