Does what it's supposed to do, apart from the disappearing paint on the roof!
Costs
Not expensive, but don't go to Renault for parts. 46 MPG.

Good view. Comfortable over long distances.
Performance
As an old diesel, it goes prety well.

Reliability
120k miles. Radiator just gone, two rear wheel cylinders, plus the usual tyres and pads and shoes. Central locking u/s. Replaced petrol tank support straps which had rusted through in 4 years.

Comfort
Pretty good. Rear seats rather narrow and, of course, no storage space when full of people.

Local and national Renault only interested in new customers… No they have never heard of paint problems on Espaces!
