Value
Can be bought cheaply now those that aren't dogs should be bargain, stylish family transport.
Costs
Find an independent and parts & servicing are very, very reasonable. 34mpg, even with air con on and roof-box up top. Insurance surprisingly high.

Driving
Brisk acceleration, relaxed high-speed cruising, supple ride taut and agile handling, but not for boy racers.
Performance
Engine a touch harsh by the highest standards, but accelerates smoothly and quickly. Will cruise all day at 90mph.

Reliability
Fantastic - has never let me down and hasn't cost me a penny, other than routine maintenance.

A bit old-fashioned maybe, but still looks mean and purposeful from the front. Far better image than the old Vectra and Mondeo.
Comfort
Seats too soft, but generally supportive. Well-planned and attractive cabin. Heating and ventilation are a bit weedy, but the air con works well.
