Cheapish car, but you really do get what you pay for!

Driving
Steering too heavy at speed. Holds the road well, but feels rather numb.
Performance
1.4 not bad if a little lacking in torque. Engine lacks charisma - sounds a bit like a washing machine on a fast spin. 1.6 would be better bet.

Living with it
Reliability
Mechanically it has been OK. However the trim quality is very poor and has started to squeak and rattle. Seat material is especially bad and looks worn after only 6,000 miles. Rear seat cover has been replaced twice under waranty for poor stitching.

Security
Security is good. So good in fact that I can't even get into it half of the time! Key cards are very unreliable.
Service
Dealer helpful, but Renault too slow to get replacement parts sent out for warranty claims.

Renault overfilled the engine with oil when new.

Poor seat covers wearing badly. Key cards are pants! Would much rather have standard key.
