    What's it like to drive?

It drives OK but not as well as the Vauxhall Zafira, particularly when loaded, but the fuel consumption is noticeably better around town (we used to refill the Zafira once a week, but with the Scenic it's every 2 weeks). Would consider another Scenic more so than a Zafira.

    What's it like to park?

Parking is easy but you need to be careful when parking between cars with a low front end as you cannot see how close you are.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Dash needed to be replaced - cost £150. Clutch needed replacement - cost £800. Gearchange linkage (plastic) kept popping off. The repair is to replace the complete gearstick but there are only second-hand parts which cost as much as the new parts but with no or limited warranty. The easy repair is to tie some wire around the linkage to prevent it from popping off. Front wipers failed - plastic linkage again.

What's most practical about your car?

The room inside and the stowaways/drawers.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
