  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

That I'm a boy racer. But a gentleman boy racer.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

When I put my foot down they get scared. I like that they get scared. Oh, and they are amazed that I got all this for 3k.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. But I actually plan to run it into the ground and never sell it.

What are you likely to buy next?

    Jaguar XJS.

    Didn't buy from a dealer

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £3,000

When did you buy the car?

    June 2013

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yup, these cars have depreciated quite a bit now so there are lots of bargains to be found.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted something fast, fairly luxurious which wouldn't cost the earth.

    What was the dealer like?

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Get it above 20 mph, then say goodbye to the car behind. It is bloody fast, and mine had a 20bhp Saab approved upgrade so it's very fast (275bhp). Is pretty good round corners, lots of grip, puts a smile on my face. You won't get left behind in one of these.

    What's it like to park?

    Easy. Parking sensors.

  • Living with it

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing yet. It's got 100,000 miles on the clock and everything works perfectly.

What's most practical about your car?

It's a compact 4 door saloon, of course it's practical!

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Umm... it's got the works. Electric seat is nice, as is the chilled glove box, sat nav/car phone is good, and the independent driver/passenger heat controls are a godsend. Fold in mirrors are good too.
