Value
Excellent value compared to VW Polo of similar spec.
Costs
Fixed-priced servicing at my dealer - seems ok - lots cheaper than when I was driving a VW Polo.

Driving
I love driving this car - it's a firm ride and it takes a lot of abuse without much complaint!
Performance
For a 1.4 engine, I'm constantly amazed at how nippy this car is - even recently a passenger was amazed the car was a 5 year old 1.4.

Reliability
Slight gearbox problem at 60k miles - fixed and no other problems apart from usual wear and tear.

I still think this car looks fantastic! Am looking to buy new 2002 shape soon, but would rather have this shape than the shape which replaced it in around 2000.
Comfort
For a small, cheapish car, I think this is good - more comfortable than the Polo was and my parents' Punto and Honda Civic.

Touch wood, nobody has been close to breaking in yet.

Dealer I purchased from not hugely accomodating with courtesy cars etc, but now dealing with another branch and they are great.
