Value
When I brought this new 7 years ago, it only cost me £5995 - BARGAIN! Basically you are buying VW quality, with SEAT prices.

Fuel economy absolutely excellent!

Driving
A bit hard and clunky, but it was a diesel.
Performance
0-60 a bit sluggish, but in 3rd and 4th, man this car could perform!

Living with it
Reliability
Steering rack went twice and glow plugs a few times, but apart from that, no other mechanical problems. Rust was a big problem with this car.

Still a nice looking car, but I think in the next couple of years, the image will become old-fashioned due to the newer models coming out. It will suit first time young buyers though for a few years.
Comfort
Was comfortable and easily fitted in 5 people, although getting out of the back was a bit of a nightmare.

Well my car has never been broken into, but this model comes with no alarm or immobiliser! I would imagine the locks would be easy to pick as well, but you can always add your own security.
Service
Not bad, although didn't have much contact after the car was purchased.
