Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I had this car from new for 15 years and it served me well. It handled well and was powerful enough. What is amazing is the Tardis boot space. For a small hatchback it actually had more load space than some estates and could still fit 5 in comfort. I did have to do a lot of maintenance on it though. Nothing serious ever broke but common faults like the door filling up with water, the crankshaft sensor, the coil packs splitting, the cooling fan catching fire (true) were all easy to fix but annoying. Late on I upgraded the brakes and realized I should have done that years before. Before I bought it I test drove the diesel version and I should have bought that rather than the petrol one, but at the time it was much more expensive. Still I paid £16,000 for it and for a new car that was well worth it as I definitely got my moneys worth.

How reliable do you find the car?

Many components failed after the car was about 5 years old. Nothing major or expensive just poor quality materials and protective coatings.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Quick, nimble and exciting to drive. Front looks great though never a fan of the rear end. The newer models are not a patch on it though. Discovered it's almost impossible to fit a tow bar to it due to it's tiny ground clearance.
