In their own words

This is the best car I have ever owned, and I don't know how I can replace it in a few years. It is comfortable for front and rear passengers - excellent visibility - with the rear seats out, it carries half a ton of gear, for camping, kayaking, cycling, catering for club weekends, taking garden refuse to the "recycling" - and with a large flat floor in the rear to make that easy, like a van. Driving, the 1.9 diesel turbo - with cruise control on my model, the Scout, otherwise it would be too easy to speed - takes on any road, and corners like it was on rails. The only one single thing I would like to change is the headlights, the "projector" type does not give enough light on full beam, unlike my previous 1995 VW camper and 1990 Ford Escort with more traditional quartz halogen. On hilly twisting Scottish Highland roads in the dark, the lights do hold me back a little. But the Roomster does such a great job of getting me and all my kit out there. I cannot understand why Skoda dropped the Roomster, which is likely the only car Jeremy Clarkson seemed positive about.
