Other Suzuki Swift (2010 - 2017) models:

  • Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

Not sure that it says anything. It isn't that well known as a model I don't think. Those in the know appreciate it.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Family love it. Not sure that the neighbours have much of an opinion.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Probably not but only because I tend to change models when I get a new car. I would thoroughly recommend it though.

What are you likely to buy next?

Wanting a Golf R but that is a way down the line. Will stick with this for a good few years yet.

    No

    £10,000

When did you buy the car?

    March 2014

Did you get a good deal and why?

Bought from a local Car Supermarket so pricing was really keen.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Loads of research led me to the conclusion that it was perfect for what I needed.

    What was the dealer like?

Good - helpful and quick to prepare the car for my pick up.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Fantastic grip and handling. It's not outright mad fast but on a windy road it will set a pace that not much can keep up with.

    What's it like to park?

Parking is helped with its rear sensors. Rear three quarters view isn't great through tiny side windows so reversing and turning can be a chore.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Air con packed up within a couple of weeks of me getting it. That was fixed under warranty.

What's most practical about your car?

Size - It;s perfect for putting into those small parking spots. Parking sensors help as well.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Cruise control - keeps me honest where speed restrictions apply so that my speed doesn't drift upward.
