Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

This car is not for a boy-racer. I like the smoothness, the solidity and feeling of weight combined with excellent economy and reliability. Somebody smashed into the back of me the first week I had it and by the sound I thought the whole back door was gone. No, the bumper had taken the hit and just needed replacing. Strong car. I can sit in it all day long on an A road or motorway and get out feeling fine. Everything mechanical and electrical is top class with a Toyota and I go for that.Fantastically smooth automatic gearbox. The seat solved my back problem that the Prius created. Excellent safety features, A/C, radio, music. All that easily outweighs the following limitations: frugal legroom in the back, poor sat-nav and speedo visibility, thick pillars, rather low to get in and out and for packing the boot, weak sound of reversing warning, clearance underneath at the front is low. It revs up surprisingly when overtaking or going up a hill, which I am getting used to. For me the experience of driving a car like this at a reasonable speed safely is a great pleasure. I am just glad there is a company like Toyota that thinks like me. Please, no more Audis, BMWs etc etc.

How reliable do you find the car?

Nothing serious. It won't play music from my phone on Bluetooth. That might be the phone's fault or mine. The heated driver' seat thermostat seems a bit wayward.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Like all the Toyotas I have owned (six) it does the basics with no problem at all. Pleasant surprises: very solid light steering, progress unaffected by road bumps, better than the Priuses I have had.
