In their own words

I brought this car to replace a Mercedes CLK that badly failed it's MOT. I work in vehicle rental with brand new vehicles & I am a 6'4" tall man. So I have some experience with a variety of different vehicles. Also I am on the upper limits of what the majority of cars i can physical fit it. I am very surprised with how competent this Toyota Aygo is, I can not fault it. It's reliable, cheap and practical motoring at its finest. I believe that's its best suited to town driving as the acceration is fine until around 50 mph, then you have to labour the engine to get it moving above 50mph. Of course it does not have anywhere near the refinement of a luxury car but it was never designed to compete with brands like Mercedes. It's idea for your compute to work or if you only drive a fairly low annual milage with a majority of town miles, especially if you have a maximum of one passenger. The car is fairly basic and does not have much soundproofing nor is it very comfortable when compared to other premium brands. The noise levels at national speed limit will be unexceptable for some people. Also the ride quality can not compare to a Lexus 4x4. This is a ultra reliable city car and unashamedly so. This Aygo with Blue edition spec has Bluetooth, Air-con, CD Player with Aux (only two speakers on dashboard!) and remote locking key fob. It does not have a glove box!, armrest or the highest quality leather interior! Joking aside the only issue with the car is a well known 'wet boot' issue that requires the seals around the rear lights and boot to be replaced. The yearly tax is £20, insurance literally couldn't be cheaper and mpg can only be beaten by a scooter. If you need a car to get you work and you have less than £2000 to buy and maintain a car for a year (minus fuel) then a Toyota Aygo (Platinum model if you find one) is a good choice.
