Value
Bought a second hand car for a good price. Seems to hold value better than other used cars at the same price. Seemed to be lots of imports about when I looked.
Costs
So long as you buy a UK car servicing and insurance costs are good, insurance very reasonable (good alarm as standard) and servicing same price as any other car.

On the road
Driving
Great to drive, corners well. 17 inch alloys not too happy with uneven roads though.
Performance
Good if revved hard, 0-60 feels quick. Seems slightly better and more efficient on Super Unleaded. If driven carefully capable of 40mpg.

Reliability
Excellent, nothing gone wrong in 20k miles in 1 1/2 years.

In black, it looks fantastic. Especially the later models with side skirts. 17 inch wheels also suit the car well.
Comfort
Front seat spacious, lots of legroom, head room slightly limited unless seats are laid back a bit.

Standard alarm very good, motion sensors in the car. Boot 'popper' can be switched off and seats locked in upright position to secure boot.
Service
Never used Toyota dealer, although may do in future.
