What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The Corolla is understated and draws little attention but is still smart. Friends comment on the nice trim in the car, its spaciousness and smooth ride.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely: I have had a good experience with my Corolla and the biggest plus for me is its reliability.
What are you likely to buy next?
It will be a Toyota Avensis or Corolla or I will go for a Honda or Mazda.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I think I paid what the car was worth. I bought the car in 2010 and at that time it was about eight years old and it had only done 32k miles, which was quite good. Also it only had one previous owner and a full service history.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Toyota's reputation for reliability, reasonable running costs, relatively comfortable drive.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was average in terms of customer service and professionalism.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It is a pleasure to drive. I have owned a VW Golf and the drive is just as good. Drive is also smooth and not firm like previous cars I have owned and road handling is pretty good too.
What's it like to park?
The Corolla is very easy to park. There is plenty of rear vision and the side mirrors are electronically controlled so I find that useful in tight bays.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Very little has gone wrong. Since buying the car I have had to replace one wheel bearing and that's all.
What's most practical about your car?
The Corolla is a decent size for me, it's a smooth drive and has good road handling. Boot size is decent and the back seats come down to allow for more luggage.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Air conditioning has to be my favourite!
