In their own words

I set out to downsize from larger MPV’s as no longer need space. I wanted a hatchback rather than an SUV despite the fashion. I had a list of candidates but didn't get further than this Toyota Corolla. First, it is a great drive. Very positive, handles very well and clear instrumentation. It is very comfortable for driver and front passenger. There is not much legroom behind but then there is rarely anybody there! Good size boot which I believe is better than the Auris. This in part due to the lack of a spare. There is some sticky stuff to inject and a little pump along with a promise to turn out with a tyre if called. The lifetime mpg is creeping up as I drive it and is impressive. The electric side seems to run the car for reasonable distance on open road as well as slow driving. The new multi purpose screen is a bit in your face but is very clear, satnav most intuitive i have had and connections through phone ok. I can’t dictate a text back but there are standard replies. I am not technically minded so the extras and safety I take as given and get brownie points elsewhere. Which survey mentioned the brakes but I find them fine although the pressure needed seems a bit inconsistent. It looks good, drives well and has modest impact on environment. PleSed with it
