Value
You get what you pay for, though they still seem comparatively expensive.
Costs
Excellent on fuel, even if you wear heavy shoes. Very reliable. So far has cost me 4 pounds for a bulb.

On the road
Driving
Always a pleasure to drive. Responsive, fast and you know you are cool. However, in the wet, you take your life in your hands. Lethal in bad conditions, you are forced to take it easy. The engine noise on long motorway journeys becomes annoying.
Performance
Fast and noisy. Leaves all non-turbo hot hatches for dead. 40mph in 1st, 70 in 2nd. Power kicks in at 5000rpm plus. You will enjoy.

Reliability
Superb. Never missed a beat or let me down. Not bad for a car this age.

The best looking model MR2. Still gets looks, pop up headlights, side intakes and spoiler. It will always put a grin on your face.
Comfort
Good comfy seats. Noisy and hard ride , but that only becomes an issue on long rides.

No problems to date. Standard immobiliser and alarm. Put a steering lock on to make sure.

Fitted the before-mentioned bulb for free.
