It's quite smart for an estate and were amazed at how little we paid for it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
For our second [smaller] estate, we'd definitely consider the new Astra Sport Tourer - again an under-rated car. We've had no problems, fuel consumption is an acceptable 36 to 38 mpg in our rural environment and servicing costs are very reasonable. Just make sure you buy the right colour e.g. silver.
What are you likely to buy next?
This one will be replaced with another auto estate or large hatchback / MPV to go alongside our main load carrying large estate.

Fantastic deal from Motorpoint - but I researched UK cars for over 2 months to find the right car at the right price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Second estate car for business / social. Good load capacity / decent handling and dependable reliability for a fantastic price.
What was the dealer like?
Straightforward - car was very well presented at the Derby outlet.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
This is an under-rated car. We now own our own businesses, but I had over 30 years motor manufacturer experience within a retail operations environment and did a lot of test driving. This GM product rides and handles very competently and does what it says on the tin! The old style 4 speed auto and 1.8 VVT might sound old fashioned, but it's a smooth combination.
What's it like to park?
Very easy - well weighted steering and decent visibility.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing in 42,000 miles, except for a sticking rear brake disc.
What's most practical about your car?
Good load capacity and a smooth ride on 16 inch wheels.

None.
