Tempted by the VXR but want something faster. Depreciates too much when you buy from a dealer.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Best handling car I've had yet. Owned a Skoda Octavia VRS before and handles miles better. Took it around roundabouts at 70mph! Just a bit wobbly under heavy braking.

No problems - good vision

No
What's most practical about your car?
Economy. Put my foot down now and again and still get nearly 40mpg around town and over 50mpg on the motorway
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Exterior pack - stands out over normal astras. Traction control - first time i've owned a car with full traction control. A godsend in the wet.
