  • Economy

    Value

    4 out of 5 4.0

Good value for money. It seems to be well built and with A/C CD player, alloy wheels etc it compares well with similar models from other manufacturers.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

With a service interval of 20,000 miles (although it is 20,000 or 1 year whichever comes first) costs should be reasonable. At high speeds and full loads fuel economy suffers but that is to be expected.

  • On the road

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

It is a pleasure to drive. The ride is smooth and, apart from at high speeds, wind and road noise is minimal.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Performance is excellent. Well chosen gear ratios make it seem quick off the mark, although on motorways it sometimes feels like it needs a sixth gear to reduce engine revs.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

Early days yet, but we have had no problems.

Obviously down to personal taste. I like the shape and with the darkened glass, alloy wheels, fog lights and bright metallic paint I think it is eye catching.

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

A real strong point. The car feels much larger inside than it looks from the outside. Rear seats have plenty of leg and head room. I cannot fault it.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

No alarm as standard, but the "anti hijack" system of initially only unlocking the drivers door is a nice idea.

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

Depends on the particular dealership and we looked around to find a dealer we liked. So far service from them has been excellent.
