Vauxhall Meriva 2003-

  • Economy

    Value

    4 out of 5 4.0

Special deal from the garage gave us excellent value

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

Fuel economy is a little disappointing for a 1.6, but it's not the worst out there

  • On the road

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

Great car to drive, easy to drive and good for parking and city streets with the speed-relevant power steering

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Good acceleration - out does my previous 1.8 petrol

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

It's only 6 moths old, but certainly no problems yet

Looks good. We have the dark back windows, alloys and twin sunroofs. Lesser Meriva owners are envious

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Front seats very comfortable. A bit narrow in the back if you have 3 adults. With 2 in the back, moving the seats in and back gives loads of shoulder and legroom and makes the back very comfortable

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

I don't know why Cat 1 systems are not standard in all new cars, but this has a cat 2 which is cheaply upgraded

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

Dealer were very helpful and great to deal with. We haven't had the car serviced yet
